Entry, logistics and rules
Entry is limited to 20 race-only competitors with an additional allowance of 20 MizMal® competitors, giving a maximum field of 40. Entry fees are listed as £90 for the standard entry and £155 for the “Plus Race Package,” which includes a race shirt and lightweight hi-viz jacket when ordered at least four weeks before the event. All entries and payments are non-refundable; a defer option is available through the booking system for a fee of £15 up to four weeks before the race.
Organisers set preset cut-offs based on a minimum average speed of 4.0 mph; competitors who fall below this requirement may be withdrawn. Competitors must carry mandatory kit including a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, route maps, compass or GPS device, whistle, mobile phone, basic first aid and emergency food. Competitors receive a finisher’s ENBARR medal, and male and female champions will receive bespoke trophies. Maps and GPX files and live tracking devices with SOS capability are provided to entrants. The event is cup-free; competitors must use their own reusable cup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
