MTC DULLAHAN
MTC DULLAHAN is a 46 mile ultra running event scheduled for 12 May 2027. It is part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge and serves as Day 6 of the fourteen day MizMal End to End series. The single day point to point route starts at Bellbridge House, Spanish Point and concludes at Hylands Burren Hotel, Ballyvaughan, with much of the course following the MizMal route as provided by Wild Atlantic Cycling.
Entries are limited to 20 race only places plus an allowance of 20 MizMal competitors for a maximum of 40 runners. Standard entry is listed at £90 while a plus race package that includes a race shirt and lightweight hi viz jacket is listed at £155. All payments are non refundable under the organiser terms; a personal cancellation insurance option and a defer option for a fee are offered at checkout.
The race enforces a minimum average speed of 4.0 miles per hour and has preset checkpoint cut offs based on that minimum. Competitors must carry mandatory kit including a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, route maps, compass or GPS device, whistle, mobile phone, basic first aid and an emergency food pack. Competitors are provided with a tracking device that includes an SOS function. Finishers receive a bespoke DULLAHAN medal and male and female champions receive trophies.
