Mt Coot-Tha Trail Festival
In 2026 the Mountain Goat Trail Series becomes the Mt Coot-Tha Trail Festival, a single-day gathering of trail races and community activity on 23 August 2026. The event takes place at Legacy Way Car Park, Mount Coot-tha, Queensland 4066, and consolidates races that previously ran across three days and three months into one day.
All races use the same trails and finish area, bringing multiple race formats together at a common venue. The program includes a short children’s loop, a 12 km course described as fast and flowing with singletrack and rolling climbs, and a half marathon that features technical trails, climbs and descents. Entry fees vary by event and by registration period, with published early bird and standard prices for the 12 km and 21.1 km races and a separate fee for the kids event.
