MR Half Marathon : Morgantown, WV
The MR Half Marathon is a fall half marathon held on October 31, 2026, on the rail trail behind the Seneca Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. The main course is an out and back route that covers 13.1 miles toward the Point Marion / Sheepskin Rail Trail and returns to the start. The course begins on pavement for just under three miles before continuing on crushed limestone. Runners can expect shaded sections and river views along the Monongahela River.

- 13.1 miles out and back on the rail trail toward Point Marion Sheepskin Rail Trail
- 1 mile kids race out and back toward the Core Arboretum
Course rules and support include a four hour time limit and a prohibition on dogs. Gels are provided on course and water stations are located at miles 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, and 11. The first 245 registered participants receive event swag. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and first place winners in standard age group categories including 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 and up.
Online registration closes on October 24. In-store and packet pick-up registration are available with cash or check. Parking is available in the Seneca Center lot; the garage under Seneca Village Apartments is reserved for residents. No refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
