Mr Frogs Wild Run is a community athletic event held in Murphys, California. The activities are centered at Feeney Park, located at 196 Pennsylvania Gulch Road. The event includes a variety of distances to accommodate different levels of participants and includes an on-site appearance by the mascot, Mr. Frog.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- Children’s Fun Run: a circuit through the park accompanied by Mr. Frog.
- 5K Run: a loop around the park and through the adjacent neighborhood.
- 10K Run: an extended route passing through scenic areas beyond the park boundaries.
The 10K distance is described as a route suitable for those documented as more experienced runners. Hydration stations are positioned along the courses, and course marshals are present to facilitate safety. Registration options include mail, email, or in-person sign-ups on the day of the activity.
Participants receive an event t-shirt featuring the mascot, though availability is limited for those registering on the day of the run. Following the completion of the races, a post-race celebration is held featuring refreshments and a medal ceremony for all finishers.
