Event
The Ironstone Vineyards Wine Run is a chip-timed 5k run/walk held on March 29, 2026 at Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys, California (1894 6 Mile Rd, Murphys, CA 95247). Results are posted online by J3 Timing. The local charity partner for the event is PAWS, an organization that provides sanctuary for captive wildlife and promotes public education about captive wildlife issues. The venue includes wine tasting, dining and estate tours.
Practical information
Registration includes a ring-spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib; minors do not receive a wine glass or wine pour and must be accompanied by someone 21+ at all times. Walking is allowed. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers can participate for free and do not need to register. Dogs are not allowed on site. Age-group awards are offered in ten-year bands through 80 and over, with awards for top finishers in each category; medals must be collected on race day and are not shipped. Packet pickup is race-day only. A virtual participation option is available, with the possibility to have the race packet shipped for an additional fee.
