Each participant receives a cotton t-shirt, a chip-timed race bib, a shatterproof wine glass, and a finisher medal that also functions as a wine stopper. Registration for those of legal age includes a pour of wine. While minors are permitted to participate at a discounted rate, they do not receive the wine glass or the wine pour and must be accompanied by an adult.
J3 Timing provides professional scoring for the event. Custom awards are available for the top three finishers in several age categories, ranging from ages 1-9 to 80 and over. Results are posted online following the conclusion of the race.
Additional Features
The event is dog-friendly, provided animals remain on a leash, though they are not permitted inside the tasting room. Strollers are allowed on the course but are not recommended due to the uneven terrain.
