The Mountain Ultra Trail by UTMB is a trail running festival held in George on South Africa’s east coast. The event takes place in the Outeniqua Mountains, where trails cross peaks up to 1,578 meters above sea level and pass through fynbos and old growth indigenous forests. High points along the route offer views over the Indian Ocean and across the Karoo.
