The Mountain Marathon Festival in Bedugul, Bali, Indonesia is a mountain trail running event held on 11 January 2026. Course and terrain
The course runs through Bali’s volcanic highlands. Features listed for the route include volcanic crater lakes, waterfalls and mountain streams, shaded mountain forests, traditional highland villages, and rice fields.
Qualification and race rules
Entrants must meet at least one qualifying performance from official races. Accepted performances include: finishing any 30 km trail race within that race’s official cut-off; finishing a standard 42.2 km road marathon under 5:00 hours; completing an Ironman-distance triathlon run leg (42.2 km) under 6:00 hours; or having an ITRA or UTMB index greater than 350 from recognized races. Strava times and personal GPS records are not accepted.
