About the race
Mountain Do Chapada dos Veadeiros is a trail running event in Alto Paraíso de Goiás, Goiás, on 31 October 2026. The routes run through the Cerrado and include sections that pass by canyons, waterfalls and ancient rock formations. The event presents three distance options:
- 21 km
- 14 km
- 7 km
The 21 km is described as technically demanding and visually varied. The 14 km offers an intermediate balance between effort and pace. The 7 km is presented as a shorter distance focused on celebration and connection with nature. The event takes place at Fazenda São Bento, where kit pickup for all distances is scheduled the day before the race. The participant kit includes a water resistant ultra light backpack, dry fit shirt, cap, towel at finish, finisher medal, race number with timing chip, athlete insurance and access to private areas during the race.
Registration opened on 21 November 2025. The listed entry fee for current registration is R$ 450, with a reduced rate of R$ 225 for participants aged 60 and over. The organizer provides GPX files for each course and a competition regulation document. Recommendations note a trail running shoe with good grip and suggest a hydration pack for 21 km participants.
