Event overview
The Mott Miles Challenge: Run With The Bears is a loop-based running and walking event held at Mott Community College, East Court Street, Flint, MI (1401 E Court St, 48503). Participants have a three-hour time window to complete as many one-mile loops as they choose on a course closed to traffic. All participants must begin their first loop at the start of that window. The shared start/finish area serves as a central gathering space with an aid station, music, cheering spectators, and an announcer.
Logistics, awards, and entry
Packet pick-up is available the day before and the day of the event at the Durham Wellness and Physical Education Center on the Mott campus. Race day parking is available in the H Parking Ramp; Lot A is reserved for students and faculty and certain campus access routes are restricted. Restrooms are available in the Durham Wellness and Physical Education Center and the Ballenger Field House. Children 12 and under should run or walk with a parent or guardian. All participants receive a long sleeved tech shirt and a 4" finisher medal.

- 3 miles (fastest to reach)
- 5 miles (fastest to reach)
- 10 miles (fastest to reach)
- 26 laps (Mott Marathon) large prize for sub-three-hour completion Awards are given male and female, for runners and walkers; specific eligibility rules apply for consecutive loops and one goal-mileage award per participant.
