Motherwalk & Run 5K
The 23rd annual Motherwalk / Run 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on May 9, 2026 at Homewood Central Park in Homewood, Alabama. The event benefits the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation and includes in-person and virtual participation options.

The 5K course is USATF certified (AL12051JD). RaceJoy is provided for live phone tracking, GPS progress alerts, send-a-cheer features, and virtual results. Packet pickup and registration are available on pre-race dates at Trak Shak in Homewood and on race day at Homewood Central Park.
Awards are given to top overall male and female 5K finishers and to age group top three finishers across specified brackets. The 1 Mile Fun Run provides finisher medals for participants 14 and under. Team awards include largest team and most funds raised. Fundraisers who raise at least $250 receive a $25 refund of their entry fee. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed and are provided to the first 500 registrants.
Policies note that registration fees are nonrefundable, bib transfers must be completed by May 5, and the event will proceed in most weather conditions. Pets on leash and strollers are permitted with safety provisions. Unregistered participants are not allowed and all proceeds support the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
