Motherwalk / Run 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The 24th annual Motherwalk / Run is scheduled for May 8, 2027, at Homewood Central Park in Homewood, Alabama. The event supports the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation and includes both in-person and virtual participation options.

- 5K chip timed and USATF certified AL12051JD
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual 5K or 1 Mile option
Walkers are welcome. Ovarian cancer survivors have free entry options for in-person and virtual 5K and 1 Mile events. The 5K awards top male and female overall plus top three in multiple five-year age brackets; overall and age group awards will not be duplicated. Fun Run participants age 14 and under receive a finisher medal.
Packet pickup is available before race day at Trak Shak in Homewood and on race day at Homewood Central Park. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed and shirts are provided to the first 500 registrants. Pets on leash and strollers are allowed; children in strollers are asked to remain in the stroller until crossing the finish line. There are no refunds of registration fees; bib transfers must be completed by May 5. The event proceeds benefit the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation and the organizers reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances, in which case entry fees will be used as a donation.
