Mothers Day Flower Fun Run
The event takes place at Dows Lake in Ottawa on Sunday May 10 2026 and is presented as part of the Canadian Tulip Festival, which includes over 300 000 tulips. The run uses a closed, scenic course through festival areas.
There are two main race distances and a youth option. The 5K follows a 2.5K loop completed twice; Strava files are available for course direction and elevation details.
Registration is limited to 600 participants. Included with registration are a personalized race bib, professional timing, race photography provided by the festival, on course nutrition from XACT, and post race snacks. Podium prizes are awarded to the top three male female and non binary finishers in the 5K. A finisher medal is offered as an optional add on and the organizer publishes deadlines for ordering shirts and medals.
