Event overview
The Mother's Day Flower Fun Run is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Dows Lake, 1001 Queen Elizabeth Driveway, Ottawa, ON K1S 5K7. The run is an official Canadian Tulip Festival event; the festival displays over 300,000 tulips. The event is limited to 600 participants. Race photography is provided and professional timing is included. Strava files and course maps are available; the 5K course is a 2.5 km loop completed twice.
Race options and logistics
- 1K (kids 12 and under) - includes medal, $30
- 5K (under 35 minutes) - $59, professional timing
- 5K (over 35 minutes) - $59, run/walk/stroll
Registration includes a personalized race bib, on-course nutrition supplied by XACT, race photography, podium prizes for the top three male, female, and non-binary athletes in the 5K, and post-race snacks. The finisher's medal is an optional add-on; medal orders must be placed by April 10. Shirt orders must be placed by March 30. Online registration to have a name on the Athlete Wall closes May 5 at 6 pm; registration is subject to availability afterward. Bib pickup is available Saturday, May 9 at Sports4, 769 Bank St, Ottawa, and on race day at the Tulip Festival near Preston and Queen Elizabeth Drive.
