Event information
The Mothers Day Flower Fun Run takes place on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Dows Lake in Ottawa (1001 Queen Elizabeth Driveway, Ottawa, ON K1S 5K7). The event is an official Canadian Tulip Festival event and uses a closed run course that passes tulip displays. The field is limited to 600 participants. Strava course files are available; the 5K follows a 2.5 km loop completed twice and a separate 1K route is provided.

- 1K Kids Run (age 12 and under) - includes medal
- 5K Run (under 35 minutes)
- 5K Run/Walk/Stroll (over 35 minutes)
Entry fees listed on the event page are $30 for the 1K and $59 for each 5K option. Registration includes a personalized race bib, professional timing, on-course nutrition supplied by XACT, race photography sponsored by the Canadian Tulip Festival, podium prizes for the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in the 5K, and post-race snacks. Shirt orders must be placed before March 30. Finisher medals are optional and must be ordered before April 10 while supplies last. Online registration closes on May 5 (subject to availability). Bib pickup is scheduled at Sports4, 769 Bank St, Ottawa, and on race day at the Tulip Festival near Preston and Queen Elizabeth Drive. Refunds are available only if cancellation insurance is purchased. The event supports the Canadian Tulip Legacy as a fundraiser partner.
