Event overview
The Mothers Day Flower Fun Run is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Dows Lake in Ottawa (1001 Queen Elizabeth Driveway, K1S 5K7). The event is an official Canadian Tulip Festival activity and takes place among the festival display, which includes over 300,000 tulips. The event is limited to 600 participants. Race photography is sponsored by the Canadian Tulip Festival and professional timing is provided. On-course nutrition is supplied by XACT. Podium prizes will be awarded to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in the 5K.

- 1K (Kids run, age 12 and under) : includes a medal.
- 5K (competitive category labeled under 35 minutes).
- 5K (run/walk/stroll category labeled over 35 minutes).
Typical registration fees shown on the event page are $30 for the 1K and $59 for each 5K option. Important deadlines include a shirt deadline of March 30, a medal add-on deadline of April 10, and an online registration deadline of May 5 (6 pm) for inclusion on the Athlete Wall. Bib pickup is listed for Saturday, May 9 (3 pm to 6 pm) at Full Cycle Hintonburg, 7 Hamilton Ave N, and on race day, starting at 11:30 am near the corner of Preston and Queen Elizabeth Drive. Refunds are available only if cancellation insurance is purchased. Strava route files are provided; the 5K is a 2.5K loop completed twice.
