Mother's Day 5K
An event on Mother's Day weekend features a 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Fun Run on May 9, 2026 at Parkway Christian School in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The program is open to all ages.
Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk
- 1 Mile fun run for children and families
General registration fee is $30. A student discount price of $20 applies to participants aged 0 to 18 for both the 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Run.
The 5K includes awards for overall finishers male and female and age-group awards for male and female in these groups: 0-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 plus. Post run refreshments will be available.
A Mother's Day craft activity is offered for children to do while a parent is running. Mother's Day flowers will be available for sale at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
