Mother Tuckers 10 km Trail
Mother Tuckers is a 10 km trail race organised by Somer AC across Somerset countryside. The course is mostly trail with some short sections of tarmac and includes an opening section with wide views, a passage past the Stony Littleton Long Barrow, and a stretch referred to as the Incline of Opportunity.
The event is chip timed and accredited by the Associated of Running Clubs ARC under permit. Facilities at Race HQ include a secure baggage drop, showers, free parking, and refreshments. Full medical cover will be provided on course and marshals will be positioned to assist participants. A bespoke finisher medal is awarded to finishers. The event integrates with the Race Nation app and offers free access to the RaceReady app for medical and performance guidance.
Entry and eligibility rules are specified by the organiser. Entrants must be at least 15 on race day and those under 18 require parental or legal guardian consent. Canicross is not permitted due to landowner restrictions. Headphones including bone conducting designs are not allowed for safety because some quiet country roads remain open to local traffic. Transfers are permitted through the Race Nation platform for a fee with a transfer deadline on 27 September 2026. No deferrals or refunds are offered except a 50 percent refund only in the case of event cancellation. Images taken on course may be used for promotion on Somer AC social channels; participants who do not wish images used should inform the organiser.
