Event overview
The Mother of All Races is scheduled for May 9, 2026 in Canal Fulton, Ohio. The event is organized by the Rotary Club of Canal Fulton and starts and finishes at Northwest High School, 8580 Erie Ave NW, Canal Fulton, OH 44614. The race program includes multiple event types: a run/walk, a two-person team 5K, a competitive 5K walk, and a 10K run.

Registration includes a gender short sleeve performance T-shirt. For an additional fee participants may choose a unisex long sleeve shirt or a hooded sweatshirt; a no-shirt discount is available. Shirt choices are limited after April 20.
Course, awards, and logistics
Courses run through downtown Canal Fulton and along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath. PDF course certifications are provided for both the 5K and the 10K. Packet pickup is available on the day before and on race day.
Awards are given in multiple categories: overall top 3 for Mother/Daughter and Mother/Son teams; top 3 overall women and men in each event; top 3 in age groups for the 5K and 10K; and top 1 in each age group for the 5K competitive walk. Age groups are listed in the event information. The race is a primary fundraiser for the Rotary Club, which distributes more than 90 percent of its funding to community needs.
