About the race
Moses Lake Turkey Trot is a charity 5K event held at Blue Heron Park boat launch area in Moses Lake, WA. All proceeds benefit the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation. Distances and event types: - 5K Run/Walk - 3.1 Miles - 5K Run/Walk Stroller - 3.1 Miles Online registration opens October 1, 2026. Early bird registration and shirt availability end November 15; early bird price is $25 plus an online fee and includes a shirt.
Late registration begins November 16 at $35 plus fees; late registrants will not receive a shirt, though any extra shirts will be distributed after awards. No refunds. Packet pickup is available at the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation office at 1022 Pioneer Way Suite A and at the Blue Heron Park boat launch; bibs and shirts are distributed according to the packet pickup schedule. Awards are presented after the race. Age groups for male and female competitors are 6 and under, 7-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
There is a stroller division for male and female entrants; runners registered in the stroller division receive timing and awards if placed. Children riding in strollers should not be registered as separate competitors. A child shirt may be purchased during registration for an additional $15. Participants may donate additional funds to benefit the foundation.
Personalized yard signs can be reserved for a $100 donation and will be displayed at the event; names for signs must be submitted by November 6. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
