About the race
The Mighty Morley 10K is a community organised road race held in Morley, Leeds on Sunday 4 October 2026. The event covers a single lap of 10 km on a closed road course through the town’s streets. The route is undulating with two out and back sections and a three way crossover at Morley Bottoms.
The race is run by volunteers as a not for profit and raises funds for local causes. For its fifth anniversary the organisers have chosen five beneficiary groups: Morley Running Club, M.I.N.T, Morley Grief Club, St. Gemma’s Hospice and Newlands Food Bank.
Facilities include water stations, a drinks station on course, distance markers, chip timing, marshals and signage, toilets at the start, finish and race HQ, baggage or bag drop and a digital goody bag. All finishers receive an eco friendly medal. Optional event merchandise and post race food and drink options are available; t shirt and buff last orders close on 20 September. The event accepts entries from wheelchair racers and specific requirements can be discussed with the organisers.
Entry is limited to 1100 places and the minimum age on race day is 15. Entry fees are listed as £19 for affiliated runners and £21 for unaffiliated runners.
