Morley 10k
Morley Running Club, in conjunction with Morley Town Council, will host the 5th Morley 10k road race in Morley, West Yorkshire on 4 October 2026. The event is volunteer led and not-for-profit, raising funds for local causes including Churwell Environmental Volunteers & St Peter's Church Community Hall. The race holds Race License 29404.
The course is a closed-road, undulating 10 km route through the town with two out-and-back sections and a three-way crossover at Morley Bottoms. The route passes Wide Lane, Middleton Road, Queen Street by the Town Hall, Brunswick, Victoria Road, Asquith Avenue, Geldard Road, Station Road and Albert Road before finishing near the Town Hall. The course is fully marshalled and sign posted and includes a drinks station and chip timing.
All finishers receive an eco-friendly medal and a digital goody bag; there are awards for first, second and third places and additional post-race food options. Northern Pacing Volunteers will provide pacers from 40 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes. Roads reopen 90 minutes after the start time and runners still on the course will be asked to move to the pavements. There is no baggage drop. Age requirement is 15 or older on race day.
