Morgan Hill Trail Races
Morgan Hill Trail Races take place on September 19, 2027 in Morgan Hill State Forest, Fabius, NY. The events start and finish within the state forest and camping is available on site.
Courses follow the nearly all single track Onondaga Trail and additional mountain bike trails. Runners pass ponds, vistas, waterfalls, and reach the highest point in Onondaga County. The marathon course adds the Fellows Hill loop and an out-and-back to Route 13, and the route crosses a historic gravestone feature on the trail.
The event runs concurrently with the Hill to Hollow 100 km and 100 km relay. It is Trail Sisters approved and listed as UTMB Index races. The organizer is Salt City Trail Racing. SCTR notes it will match donations up to $250 to the Finger Lakes Trail Conference.
Aid stations are placed along the courses and include items such as ice when appropriate, water, Skratch, orange slices, bananas, pickles, PB&Js, potato chips, pretzels, Oreos, and candy. All entrants receive a pair of SCTR socks. Prizes are awarded to top finishers in each gender division.
