Moray Coastal Trail Races

Website

Moray Coastal Trail Races are endurance events along Scotland’s Moray coastline, offering a 50-mile Ultra from Forres to Cullen Viaduct and a 23-mile Trail starting in Lossiemouth to Cullen Viaduct. Runners traverse varied scenery—from Findhorn’s eco-community and Burghead Bay forests to clifftop sections overlooking the sea, past Spey Bay’s dolphin hotspot and Buckie’s shipbuilding heritage, to picturesque fishing villages and the Cullen Viaduct finish. The event features stocked aid stations, drop bags, and generous cutoffs (16 hours for the 50-mile, 8 hours for the 23-mile) with entry capped at 150 per race.

A new 20-mile distance was introduced in 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
