Moraga Turkey Trot
The Moraga Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning, 11/26/2026, at the Moraga Country Club cart path in Moraga, California. The start and finish are located further north on the MCC cart path, closer to Moraga Way, with a reception area around the MCC snack shack.

- 1.5 Miles
The event is run as unofficial timed races. Awards include recognition for best Thanksgiving themed costume and for the speediest turkey, plus random bib number draws for prizes from local businesses. Participants will check the digital timer at the start and finish for self timing.
Advance registration is required. Registration opens 9/12/2026 16:00 and closes 10/20/2026 02:59. Day of registration is not available. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $35.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the 1.5 mile. Registrants receive a T shirt, a numbered running bib and limited goodies while supplies last.
Anyone on the course must be registered, wear a bib and have a signed waiver. Parking will be limited and traffic laws will be enforced; carpooling, drop offs and walking are suggested where practical. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
