Mora Half Marathon & 5K
The Mora Half Marathon & 5K takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Mora, MN (118 North 9th Street, Mora 55051). The event program includes the following race distances:

- Free kids run immediately after the 5K start
Registration, shirts and fees
Online registration closes at 11:59 PM on August 13. In-person registration and pre-registered bib pickup are available the evening before and on race morning at the start/finish area at the athletic complex behind Mora Elementary and Mora High School. Access on Friday is via 2100 N Grove St and on Saturday via 118 N 9th Street. Race shirts are provided to participants who pre-register by August 1, 2026; women's and unisex cuts are offered and the women's cut is a slim fit.
The listed entry fees are $43.40 for the half marathon and $27.50 for the 5K (fees included). Early-bird rates until March 1 are $40 for the half and $25 for the 5K.
Course, timing and awards
Both the half marathon and the 5K courses are certified. The half marathon course is marked with orange footprints and the 5K with green footprints. Official timing for the half marathon ends 3 hours and 15 minutes after the start; participants remaining on course after that time may continue but without timing, support, or water stops. Awards include trophies for top overall finishers and medals for top age-group finishers; additional medals are awarded to top local (Kanabec County) overall finishers. In the event of lightning, the start may be delayed up to 60 minutes and the race may be cancelled if conditions do not clear; race insurance is available for purchase.
