Mora Half Marathon and 5K
The Mora Half Marathon and 5K is scheduled for August 15, 2026 in Mora, Minnesota. The event is based at the athletic complex behind Mora Elementary and Mora High School, with the address listed as 118 North 9th Street. It includes a free kids run in addition to the main races.

Online registration closes on August 13, 2026. In person registration and pre-registered bib pickup are available Friday evening and the morning of the event at the start and finish area; bib pickup continues until shortly after the 5K start on race day. Race shirts are provided to participants who register by August 1, 2026; shirts come in women's and unisex cuts and the women's cut is a slim fit.
Both courses are certified but may be adjusted if road construction requires changes. The half marathon course is marked with orange footprints and the 5K course with green footprints. Official timing for the half marathon ends 3 hours and 15 minutes after the start; participants remaining on course after that time may continue without timing, support, or water stops. Awards include trophies and medals for overall and age group finishers and specific medals for top local Kanabec County finishers. In the event of lightning the start may be delayed up to 60 minutes; the race may be cancelled if severe weather persists. Insurance is available at checkout.
