Mora Half Marathon & 5K
The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Mora, Minnesota. The race base is the athletic complex behind Mora Elementary and Mora High School at 118 North 9th Street. Parking is available in the main Mora High School lot with access via the fire lane between the high school entrance and the track and football field.

- 5K
- Free kids run
Registration opens August 17, 2025. In-person registration and bib pick up are available on race day from 6:15 to 7:00 a.m., extended to 7:15 a.m. for pre-registered 5K participants. Race shirts are provided to participants who register by August 1, 2026; women's and unisex cuts are offered and the women's cut is a slim fit.
Both the half marathon and 5K courses are certified but may be adjusted if road construction occurs; measured and marked courses may therefore differ from certification, and no refunds will be made for such changes. The half marathon course is marked with orange footprints and the 5K with green footprints.
Awards include trophies for top overall finishers and medals for top age-group finishers, plus medals for top local Kanabec County finishers. Official timing for the half marathon ends 3 hours 15 minutes after the start time; after that point there will be no timing, water stops, or course support. In the event of severe lightning the start may be delayed up to 60 minutes and the event may be canceled if conditions do not clear; no refunds will be given and insurance is available at checkout.
