Moovin' Thru the Midway 5K
The Moovin' Thru the Midway 5K is a race held at the Michigan State Fairgrounds in Novi, Michigan on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The event offers both an in-person course that passes through the fairgrounds, including the carnival midway, animal areas, and interior vendor exhibits, and a virtual option that allows participants to run or walk at a location of their choice.
In-person participants receive a race kit that includes a unique Moovin' Thru the Midway 5K dri-fit T-shirt, a finisher medal, a race photo, a pint of Guernsey Farms Dairy chocolate milk, Sweetwater's coffee, and one complimentary beer from the Beer Tent for those 21 and older. Each in-person entry also includes a complimentary Ultimate Admission Ticket to the Michigan State Fair, which covers fair entry, unlimited rides, and BMX/FMX performances. Virtual participants are mailed a race kit and may submit a photo to receive a branded race photo.
Packet pickup is scheduled from 6:30 to 8:00 am on September 5, 2026. The event benefits Military Families United, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports military families through programs, events, and advocacy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
