Moose Is Loose is a trail running event held at 11904 Emily Murphy Park Road Northwest in Edmonton, Alberta. The event offers run and walk options over two distances.

Routes follow scenic trails in Edmonton. Registration includes a chipped bib, a Coolnet UV half-buff, bag check, professional photo finish, and a post event meal. The post event meal provided is a gluten free hot dog and a drink from Its Hotdog Time. Participants may purchase additional meal tickets when registering.
All participants receive a finishers medal and a Coolnet UV half-buff. Buff colour may be chosen at package pickup subject to availability; supplies are limited and distributed on a first come first served basis.
Registration fees for both distances are listed at CA$72.10 and a CA$5 seniors discount is applied at checkout. Spots remaining are shown as 236.
