About the race
The Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce presents the 31st Annual RC Cola – MoonPie certified races on Saturday, June 19, 2027, in Bell Buckle, Tennessee. The event base is at 6 Railroad Square in downtown Bell Buckle.
The event includes the following distances:

- 5K
Registration is online only on RunSignUp and is limited to the first 1,100 runners. Race shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered runners, but sizes are not guaranteed. Registrations are final and nonrefundable; transfers to the other race are allowed for a $15 fee if space is available. Transfers of registration to another person are not permitted.
Packet pick-up is in the alleyway behind the downtown shops, marked by large red registration flags, on Friday, June 18 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on race day from 5:30 AM to 6:45 AM. Runners must present a QR code or photo ID to check in and receive their bib and shirt.
Course maps and race-day information are available at packet pick-up. Directional signs and mile markers mark the routes; 5K runners veer off from the 10 Mile course at about the half-mile mark. Water stops on the 10 Mile course are at miles 2, 4, 6 and 8 with Gatorade at miles 6 and 8. The 5K has a water stop just beyond the two mile mark.
Amenities and race-day services include porta potties at the post office parking lot, showers at the Webb School gymnasium after the event, a post-race runners breakfast served under the pavilion, and finisher medals for all runners who cross the finish line. The RC-MoonPie Festival takes place on the festival stage grounds behind the storefront area.
Awards include trophies for the top three male and female finishers overall, Masters (40+) and Grandmasters (50+), plus age-group awards by standard divisions. Pets are not allowed on course; strollers must start at the back of the field. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
