RC - MoonPie 10 Mile and 5K Races - Bell Buckle
The RC - MoonPie 10 Mile and 5K Races take place in Bell Buckle, Tennessee on June 19, 2027. Organized by the Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce, this is the 31st annual certified event held in historic downtown Bell Buckle at 6 Railroad Square.

Registration is online only through RunSignUp and is limited to the first 1,100 runners. Registrations are final and cannot be refunded or carried over. Transfers to another runner are not allowed, though a gift option exists; transfers between the two races are possible for a $15 fee if space is available. Race shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered entrants but sizes are not guaranteed.
Packet pick-up is located in the alleyway behind the downtown shops; follow the large red registration flags. Packet pick-up times are the Friday before the race and on race day. Runners must present a QR code or a photo ID to check in. Bibs include timing chips.
The start line is at the top of Hinkle Hill Road next to the post office; the finish is in the large parking lot in front of the downtown stores. Water stops for the 10 mile course are located at MM2, MM4, MM6 and MM8 with Gatorade at MM6 and MM8. The 5K has a water stop just beyond the two-mile mark. Porta potties are placed at the post office next to the caboose; there are none along the route.
A post-race runners breakfast is served under the pavilion and water is provided at the finish and pavilion. Finisher medals are given to all runners who cross the finish line. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers for Overall, Masters (40+) and Grandmasters (50+), and age-group awards are given to the top three in standard age divisions. The event is held rain or shine; in dangerous weather a start delay is possible. Headphones are discouraged, strollers must start at the back, and pets are not allowed on the course.
