Bell Buckle RC–MoonPie 10 Mile & 5K : overview

The Bell Buckle RC–MoonPie races are held annually on the third Saturday in June in the Bell Buckle Historic District, Bell Buckle, Tennessee. The event includes a certified 10 Mile course that began in 1995 and a 5K course added in 2018. The 5K is described as a flat route through historic neighborhoods and tree-lined streets, passing Bell Buckle Park on Peacock Street. The 10 Mile course begins on Hinkle Hill near downtown and finishes across the quilt square in the downtown parking lot. Course maps, water-stop and parking information are provided on the race website. The event is organized by the Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce and is held in conjunction with the RC–MoonPie Festival.

Online registration is limited to the first 1,100 runners; race day registration may be available if slots remain. Race shirts are guaranteed for preregistered entrants. Packet pick up is provided the Friday before the race and on race morning. A post-race breakfast is offered to runners, and showers are available at The Webb School Barton Gym. Timing is provided by A Matter of Timing in partnership with the Nashville Striders. Trophies are awarded to the top three finishers in age divisions for male and female, with separate overall, masters (40+), and grandmasters (50+) awards. Entry fees vary by date, with higher amounts closer to race day and a transfer fee applied for transfers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
