Bell Buckle RC MoonPie 10 Mile and 5K Race
The Bell Buckle RC MoonPie event on June 20, 2026 features a certified 10 mile road race and a separate 5K road race. The 10 mile course has been certified since the event began in 1995 and is noted for its length compared with the more common 10K races. The 5K, added in 2018, is a flat course that tours historic Bell Buckle neighborhoods and tree lined streets, passing Bell Buckle Park on Peacock Street.
Distances:
- 10 mile road race
- 5K road race
Registration is limited to the first 1,100 runners and is conducted online; race day registration may be available if openings remain. Race shirts are guaranteed for preregistered entrants. Chip timing is provided by A Matter of Timing with partnership from the Nashville Striders. Course maps are published by the organizers.
The start is located on Hinkle Hill near downtown Bell Buckle, with the finish across the quilt square in the downtown parking lot. Showers are available at The Webb School Barton Gym after the race.
