Moon Valley Strides for Schools 5K
The Moon Valley Strides for Schools 5K takes place on March 28, 2026, at Moon Valley Park in Phoenix, AZ. The event is organized by local school groups Lookout Mountain PTO, Mountain Sky PTO, and Thunderbird TPA to raise funds for three neighborhood schools.
The program includes these race options:
- 5K Walk/Run
- Student 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Dash for grades K to 8
The 5K course runs through the Moon Valley neighborhood and includes the Grasshopper Bridge. The Kids Dash is age based with separate distances by grade. An Activity Fair at Moon Valley Park offers games, crafts, and hands-on activities for participants 16 years and younger. A raffle features themed prize categories such as Family Fun, Foodie Favorites, Pamper & Relax, and Fitness & Adventure.
Several sponsorship levels are offered with corresponding benefits and visibility, and there is a Sponsor a Student option that provides a free student registration for a $20 donation. Vendor spaces are available for Activity Fair participants; vendors must provide their own booth equipment and any needed power.
