Moon in June 2026
The Moon in June is a running event that takes place in Windsor, Ontario. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Windsor Family Credit Union Centre on McHugh Street.
Distances and Course
The event offers three race distances:
- 5 km Run/Walk - A chip-timed race.
- Kids 1 km Run
- Kids 200 m Dash
All races start and finish at the WFCU Centre. The courses utilize the Ganatchio Trail. The kids' races are out-and-back courses.
Registration and Incentives
Participants receive a race bib and a limited edition swag item. Finishers receive a medal. Overall and age group prizes are provided by Brooks.
The event includes a fundraising component for the We Care for Kids Foundation. The entry fee can be waived by raising $200 in pledges. Additional pledge incentives include a Tim Hortons gift basket, a Running Factory gift card, and a pair of Brooks running shoes.
Additional Information
Race kit pick-up is available in the days before the event at The Running Factory on Wyandotte St. E. Post-race food and drinks are provided by Tim Hortons, Capri Pizzeria, and Hyena Brew Company.
