Montville Race Day
Montville Race Day takes place on September 13, 2026 in Oakdale, Connecticut at the Camp Oakdale Pavilion, corner of Oxoboxo Dam Road and Route 163. The event is sponsored by the Montville Rotary Club, Montville Parks & Recreation Department, and Montville Senior & Social Services Department. Proceeds remain in the town and support the Montville Senior & Social Services Veteran's Fund and the Montville Rotary Club’s education and literacy programs.
The event program includes timed road races and a non-timed family Color Run on a separate course. The 10K course is USATF certified. Custom medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K, with additional awards for the top three Over 40.
Registration opens May 2, 2026 and closes September 12, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are: 5K and 10K each for $30, a combined 5K/10K bundle for $45, and the Color Run is free. Registrations on or before August 1, 2026 receive a guaranteed T-shirt; later registrants receive shirts while supplies last. Ancillary activities on the day include a bounce house, snow cones, a hot dog station, chair massages after the races, and raffles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
