Event overview
The Montgomery Village 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run takes place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Lake Marion Community Center, 8821 East Village Avenue, Montgomery Village, MD 20886. The event includes the following distances:

The 5K will use professional chip timing provided by the Montgomery Road Runners Club. The first 150 registrants will receive a free race shirt. Packet pickup and late registration are available on race day.
Registration and categories
There are separate entry categories for Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) residents and general registration. Posted entry fees are:
- 5K (MVF residents): $30 (includes $2 fee)
- 5K (general): $35 (includes $2.40 fee)
- Kids' Fun Run (MVF residents): $15 (includes $2 fee)
- Kids' Fun Run (general): $18 (includes $2 fee)
Each 5K field lists 300 spots available at posting. Registration opens March 7, 2026. Advanced registration is encouraged; online registration remains open through the start of the race.
