Mont‑Royal Summit Quest
Mont‑Royal Summit Quest is a road ultramarathon held around Mount Royal and routes reaching Beaconsfield. The listed edition takes place on October 30 and 31, 2026 and offers two main distances.
The event emphasizes autonomy and community. The course runs mostly on asphalt and is relatively flat apart from the climb up Mount Royal. Wayfinding will be minimal; organizers provide a GPX file and expect participants to know the route in advance. Roads remain open to traffic and runners must follow traffic laws and signage.
Fixed aid stations appear roughly every 5 to 8 km offering water, Coke, Gatorade and varied food. A mobile aid vehicle will follow runners during the night portion of the 100 km to provide extra support. Toilets are available near the 50 km start and at points along the route. Drop bags are allowed only for the 100 km.
The 100 km is limited to 100 entrants and is sold out for 2026 with an active waitlist. Entry fees shown are 55 $ for the 50 km and 75 $ for the 100 km. Course record times are recorded by distance and year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
