Monsters and Mimosas 5K - Aspirations
Monsters and Mimosas 5K - Aspirations takes place on October 11 at Aspirations Winery in Clearwater, FL. The event offers an in-person 5K, a Sip & Stroll option, and a virtual race alternative for participants who cannot attend on site.
All in-person participants receive a custom finisher medal and a race-themed shirt. A mimosa is provided at the finish for participants of legal drinking age; juice and water are available for those under 21. Packet pickup is scheduled for October 10 at Aspirations Winery, and the deadline to guarantee race swag in the correct size is October 1.
Timing is chip-based for start and finish, and awards are given in five-year age groups beginning with 10 and under. Self-serve water stations are placed at roughly every 1.5 miles along the course; participants who prefer not to stop are advised to bring personal hydration.
The virtual race lets participants run or walk at a location of their choosing, submit results online after the event, and still be eligible for awards and race merchandise.
