About the race
The Monster Dash To End Domestic Violence is the 5th annual Halloween-themed domestic violence awareness run held at Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The event includes both an in person 5K and a virtual 5K, each covering 3.1 Miles.

Registration is $25 per person. Participants aged 12 and under register free. Runners who register before October 2, 2026 will receive a special race day t-shirt at no extra cost due to printing deadlines. Social teams with at least five members receive a $5 discount per registration and are eligible for team awards. Packet pickup is held on race evening in the Severns Valley Baptist Church parking lot near the start and finish area.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top finisher in each age category: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & Over. Additional awards include Best Dressed Team, Best Dressed Runner, and recognition for the oldest and youngest runners completing the course.
The course begins at the back of the church parking lot and consists of three laps on a one mile loop that remains entirely on church property.
