Monster Dash : Bloomington
The Monster Dash is a community fun run held in Bloomington, Indiana on October 24, 2026. The event uses Grandview Elementary School as the start area and continues on the Karst Greenway Trail. Ample parking is available at Grandview Elementary, and the race start is located behind the gym.
Distances offered:
- 1 mile: family fun run, not timed, costumes required.
- 5K: run or walk, no official timing, follows the Karst Greenway Trail.
All registrants receive a free scoop of Bruster's Halloween themed ice cream, available in the Hallowscream or Monster Mash flavors. Well behaved dogs and strollers are allowed. Free professional photos will be available for download after the event.
Registration opens August 25, 2026 and closes October 24, 2026. The registration fee is $15.00. The event is held rain or shine; in the event of severe weather cancellation the organizer will notify participants by email and on social media.
