Monster Colour 5k Calgary
Monster Colour 5k Calgary is a colour event held at North Glenmore Park in Calgary. The event centres on a 5k course that features inflatable monster structures and multiple colour and bubble stations, followed by a separate music festival with a DJ and festival area.
The course runs over varied terrain including hills, roads, pathways, grass and unpaved trails. Wheelchairs, strollers and pushchairs are permitted on the course, but participants should expect changing surfaces. Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older. Children aged 5 and under attend free and do not need to register for the 5k. A Little Monsters ticket option is offered for young children who want finisher medallion colour packs, a buff and a light up headband.
Event logistics note that there is no pre-event race kit pickup; race kits are distributed at the registration table on event day and kits are not shipped. Parking in and around the park is free but limited and available on a first come first serve basis. On the day there will be an MC led warm up, merchandise stalls, games and entertainment. The course includes four powder colour stations, bubbles and music, and air blowers are provided for cleanup after the festival. The event is listed as supporting a childhood cancer charity.
