Monster Colour 5k Calgary
Monster Colour 5k Calgary is a colour run and festival held on September 19, 2026 at North Glenmore Park in Calgary (7305 Crowchild Trail SW, T3E 5N5). The event combines a 5 km course with a music festival atmosphere featuring a DJ, an MC, merchandise stalls, and a separate festival ticket option that does not require participation in the run.
The 5k course includes inflatable monsters placed around the route and four colourful stations with coloured powder, bubbles, and music. The course surface may vary and can include hills, roads, pathways, grass, and unpaved trails. Wheelchairs, strollers, and pushchairs are permitted on course. Each city will use a unique course layout.
Ticket options listed include the Monster Festival, Monster 5k, and a Little Monsters option for children. Kids aged five and under may participate in the run without registering but will not receive medallion colour packs unless a kids pack is purchased. Participants aged eight and under must be accompanied by a participating adult aged 18 or older. Race wrist bands identify participants while event volunteers are available on course for assistance.
