Monochrome Brewing 5k Fun Run
This event is part of the 2026 Illinois Brewery Running Series and takes place at Monochrome Brewing in Chicago on May 30, 2026. It is an untimed 5k fun run where participants may run, walk, or jog a mapped course that starts and ends at the brewery taproom.
The course is open to traffic and clearly marked; participants are asked to follow all traffic laws. Registration benefits include one craft brew from Monochrome Brewing at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), entry into a prize drawing for merch and beer, and access to post-run music, games, giveaways, and partner offerings. Ten percent of proceeds support local nonprofits.
Event guidelines note that a valid ID is required for alcoholic beverages; those under 21 receive a nonalcoholic beverage. The event proceeds rain or shine, there is no bag check, and dogs and strollers are allowed with care. Organizers advise responsible drinking and suggest planning transportation accordingly.
