5k Fun Run x Monochrome Brewing
This event is a 5k fun run hosted at Monochrome Brewing in Chicago as part of the 2026 Illinois Brewery Running Series. The course is untimed and open to run, walk, or jog. Routes are clearly marked and are designed to start and end at the brewery taproom. Roads on the course remain open to traffic, so participants must follow all traffic laws.
Registration includes one craft brew at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), and entry into a prize drawing. Post-run activities include music, games, giveaways, and partner offerings. Ten percent of proceeds support local nonprofits.
Practical details noted for the day: a valid ID is required for alcohol; participants under 21 receive a nonalcoholic beverage instead. The event operates rain or shine. There is no bag check. Dogs and strollers are allowed with care and subject to brewery policies. Organizers advise responsible drinking and suggest considering carpooling or a designated driver.
