Monaghan Phoenix Marathon Festival 2026
The Monaghan Phoenix Marathon Festival is a weekend running event in Rossmore Forest Park, Co. Monaghan, held in late September 2026 on two consecutive days. The festival offers multiple race distances and is based at the main car park of Rossmore Forest Park.
The course runs through Rossmore Park, which was voted the most popular forest in Ireland. The event has an AAI permit and a measured course, permit certificate number 26/409.

The 10K takes place on the Saturday and the half and full marathons on the Sunday. Event services include chip timing, bespoke medals, technical T shirts, and refreshments on the course and after the races. Race number pick up is available on the morning of each race at the main car park. Parking space inside the park is limited; alternative parking is available at a nearby retail park about 1.5 km from the start.
