MomsTRI Women's Sprint Triathlon
MomsTRI is a women's triathlon event held at Southwest Valley Family YMCA in Goodyear, Arizona on March 13, 2027. The program includes several event options for women and youth, plus a virtual format that can be completed offsite.
Events listed by the organizer include a full sprint triathlon, two- and three-person relays, a youth division for ages 12 to 17, a shorter sprint, and a virtual sprint. Entry fees vary by event: Sprint $115, 2-person relay $200, 3-person relay $295, youth $85, Short Sprint $95, Virtual $95.
Relay entries require transfer of a Velcro ankle timing chip in the transition area when changing legs. The virtual option allows participants to complete swim, bike and run in any order, on different days if needed, and permits substituting the swim with another 5k run, another 12 mile bike ride, or a different activity if no pool is available.
Event distances include:
- Sprint Triathlon: 400 meter swim, 12 mile bike, 3 mile run
- Short Sprint: 200 meter swim, 6 mile bike, 3 mile run
- Youth Sprint: 400 meter swim, 12 mile bike, 3 mile run
