MomsTRI Women's Sprint Triathlon
MomsTRI is a women's triathlon event held on March 13, 2027 at the Southwest Valley Family YMCA in Goodyear, Arizona. The event offers multiple formats: individual sprint, relays, a youth division for ages 12 to 17, a shorter sprint, and a virtual option. The in-person program is presented as the first event of its kind in the Phoenix West Valley.
Relay rules specify timing chip transfer in the transition area. In a 2-person relay, one participant completes one sport and the other completes the remaining two sports. In a 3-person relay, each participant completes one sport. The virtual triathlon allows participants to complete swim, bike and run in any order, on separate days, or substitute the swim with another 5K run, another 12 mile bike ride, or another suitable activity.
Registration notes: most in-person events open registration on April 20, 2026; the virtual event opens registration on September 1, 2026. Some relay and youth registration deadlines close earlier in November 2026; other registrations close by the event date. Fees reported include youth at $85 and a 3-person relay at $295.
Participants receive event items and services such as a T-shirt, finisher's jewelry, finish line refreshments, and finish line photos available for free download.
