Event overview

The MoMoFo event in Morgan Monroe State Forest, Martinsville, Indiana, is held June 5-6, 2026 and includes a trail 100 km race and a 20 mile loop fun run. The 100 km course is primarily single track (85%), with 11% forest service road and 4% paved road. The course includes old growth forest, natural rock formations, lakes, creeks and substantial elevation change : about 8,500 feet of climbing. The 100 km race has a 20-hour cutoff and is open to participants aged 18 and over. The 20 mile fun run uses the same loop as the 100 km and has a 6 hour 30 minute time limit. Both events are eligible for UTMB index points.

Virtual options and services

Virtual entries are offered for both the 100 km and 20 mile distances. Virtual participants may complete their chosen distance between May 1 and June 7, 2026, using any location or surface. Results must be recorded with wearable or GPS technology and submitted; cumulative or single-effort completions are accepted. Virtual finishers receive a sticker, a T-shirt, and a wooden finisher medallion/coaster; swag will be mailed no later than June 14. The event also operates a referral reimbursement program with tiered credit amounts tied to the number of successful referrals. Additional fees include a 7% tax.
