MoMoFo 100k and 20 mile Fun Run
The event takes place June 4 to 5, 2027, in Morgan Monroe State Forest near Martinsville, Indiana. It includes a trail ultramarathon and a shorter looped fun run. The forest course passes old growth woods, natural rock formations, lakes, and creeks and features extensive hills.
Course details for the main race include roughly 8,500 feet of cumulative climbing and a surface mix of about 85% single track, 11% forest service road, and 4% paved road. The 100 km race has a 20 hour cutoff. Heat and humidity typical of southern Indiana in summer are noted as factors on the route.
The fun run is a single loop of approximately 20 miles on the same course used by the 100 km field and has a 6.5 hour time limit. Aid station support is provided for both events. The 100 km event is open to participants aged 14 and older. Both the 100 km and the 20 mile runs are listed as UTMB index events.
Finishers receive event items such as stickers and drinkware, with different items for 100 km and fun run finishers. The event lists multiple sponsors and has a stated fundraising goal to provide portable AEDs for aid stations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
