Event Overview
The MoMoFo 100k and 20 mile Fun Run takes place in the Morgan Monroe State Forest, located in Martinsville, Indiana. This trail event utilizes the natural landscape of southern Indiana, featuring old growth forests, rock formations, lakes, and creeks. The course is composed of 85% single track trail, 11% forest service road, and 4% paved surfaces. Participants in the longer distance navigate approximately 8,500 feet of elevation gain.
Runners can choose from the following distances:
- 100 km ultramarathon
- 20 miles trail run
The 100 km distance has a designated cutoff time of 20 hours. The 20 mile distance is a single loop on the same course as the ultramarathon, with a time limit of 6 hours and 30 minutes. Support is provided at aid stations throughout the forest.
In addition to the in-person races, virtual options are available for both the 100 km and 20 mile distances. Virtual participants may complete their chosen distance between May 1 and June 7 to receive a T-shirt and a finisher coaster.
