MomForward Movement Kickoff - Road Runner Sports, Berkeley
This community event is hosted at Road Runner Sports in Berkeley by For All Mothers+, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working at the intersection of motherhood and sports to advance maternal equity. The kickoff launches a nationwide celebration of motherhood and fundraising for the organization's programs. Event registration is free and raffle tickets are available for purchase to support efforts to standardize maternal protections in sport.
An Olympic medalist who is the organization's founder will introduce the organization, share insights from recent research and programs, lead a warm up, and join the community for a group run or walk. The gathering includes pre-run coffee and raffle sales, a short kids dash, a group run or walk, and a raffle drawing followed by conversation and refreshments.
