Event Overview
The Molten Monster Mash 2026 is a Halloween themed running event held in Anniston, Alabama. Organized by Tyler Union and M&H Valve, the race takes place at the YMCA of Calhoun County. The program includes multiple distances to accommodate different age groups and preferences:
- 5K Run (3.1 miles)
- Kids Run (Mini-Monster Dash)
The 5K Run follows an out-and-back, USATF-certified course that winds through historic downtown Anniston. For younger participants, the Mini-Monster Dash is a half-block distance designed for safety, as the short course does not cross any roads and features personnel stationed along the route.
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, as the event features a costume contest alongside the athletic competition. All registrants receive a long-sleeve T-shirt and a mug as part of their entry fee. Awards include trophies for the overall male and female winners, as well as recognition for winners in specific age brackets.
