Molly Stark Shuffle - New Boston Rail Trail 5K
The Molly Stark Shuffle is a 5(ish)K run and walk held on July 4, 2026 as part of New Boston's 96th Fourth of July celebration. The course is an out-and-back route on the New Boston Rail Trail, following the Piscataquog River and starting and finishing at the Hillsborough Fairgrounds.
Registration opens May 1. Early bird pricing from May 1 to May 31 is $35. Regular registration from June 1 to July 2 is $40. Child pricing is listed as $5 for under 5 and $15 for ages 6 to 12. Registration closes on July 2.
Early bib pickup is scheduled at the New Boston town gazebo on July 3. Day-of bib pickup takes place at the Hillsborough Fairgrounds on July 4. Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers. A patriotic costume contest for family friendly outfits will be held with a prize for the best dressed runner or walker.
Parking is available at the Hillsborough Fairgrounds. After the event, water and light snacks will be provided. Participants are asked to leave strollers and dogs at home. Additional details about event swag will be announced. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
