Moggill Marathon 2026 : event overview
Moggill Marathon 2026 takes place on Sunday 17 May 2026 at 3451 Moggill Road, Moggill, Queensland. The event offers multiple race distances that pass through the hills and rural western corridor of Brisbane. The full marathon is run as two laps of the half-marathon course. Proceeds are distributed to local community groups and children’s cancer charities under the event's distribution policy.
Races and entries
- 42.2 km : Standard entry $135.00; finisher’s medal and choice of t-shirt or cap while stocks last.
- 21.1 km : Standard entry $105.00; finisher’s medal and choice of t-shirt or cap while stocks last.
- 10 km : Standard entry $75.00; finisher’s medal and choice of t-shirt or cap while stocks last.
- 5 km : Standard entry $50.00; finisher’s medal and optional cap while stocks last.
- 2 km : Standard entry $25.00; finisher’s medal.
A 10% discount applies for teams or families of four or more, not valid with other offers. Registrants are advised to register at least seven weeks before the event to guarantee preferred apparel sizing.
Prizes, fundraising and partners
Prize money is listed for top finishers in elite categories: 42.2 km and 21.1 km offer $250, $150 and $100 for first to third; 10 km offers $150, $100 and $50. Additional community prizes include a $500 team prize for the 5 km school or community team and a $250 prize plus a shield engraving for the leading primary school in the 2 km. A best fancy dress prize of $150 is also listed. Fundraising shows Bravery Box Australia Ltd has raised $77.50 toward a $5,000 goal.
