Mogadishu Mile 5K Run
The Mogadishu Mile 5K Run is scheduled for October 3, 2026 at Woodruff Riverfront Park, 1000 Bay Ave, Columbus, GA 31901. The event includes an in-person 5K route at the park and a virtual participation option administered through a partner organization.

Registration opens July 13, 2026 and closes October 2, 2026. Pre-registration fee is $40 through October 2, 2026; race day registration is $45. Registrations submitted after September 18 are not guaranteed a shirt. In-person registration and packet pick up are available on October 2 at Big Dog Fleet Feet (12 W 11th St, Columbus) and on race day at Woodruff Park.
The event supports the Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund, an organization that provides casualty assistance, recovery, transition and veterans services. Since 2008 the fund has provided over $21 million in financial support to members of the 75th Ranger Regiment and their families. Fundraising proceeds are directed to programs offered to wounded, injured and ill active duty members of the 75th Ranger Regiment and their families.
