About the race

The Moab 240 is a trail ultramarathon held in Moab, Utah. The course covers 241.8 miles of varied terrain, passing through desert, canyons, slick rock, and two mountain ranges while running near Canyonlands and Arches National Park.

Course statistics include an elevation gain of 31,696 feet and an elevation loss of 31,892 feet. The event uses National Forest Lands and features a network of aid stations: 15 full aid stations, five of which are designated sleep stations, plus one manned water-only station. The official overall cutoff for the course is 112 hours.

For the 2027 edition the race entry is managed by a lottery with listed open and close dates and a drawing date.
