MK Marathon Weekend
MK Marathon Weekend is a multi-event running weekend held in Milton Keynes each May. The programme for 2027 takes place over two days and includes a range of races from a 5K to a full marathon. Routes run through the heart of Milton Keynes, passing lakes, parks and boulevards.
The marathon and half marathon conclude with a stadium finish inside StadiumMK that includes a full lap of the pitch. The event also features a marathon relay and a themed fun run. Organisers publish event guides and practical information covering travel and parking, water stops, road closures, medical advice and race rules. Results and photos are made available after the event.
The weekend includes services and options commonly found at organised races, such as elite entries and awards, pace runners and spectator information. Medals are awarded and there is an organised entry process with registration and event crew roles.
