Mitchelville Juneteenth Freedom 5K
The Mitchelville Juneteenth Freedom 5K is a community 5K run/walk held on June 19, 2026, at Mitchelville Freedom Park, 40 Harriet Tubman Wy., Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. The event marks Juneteenth and reflects themes of freedom, unity, and progress while promoting health and community participation.

Registration opens on February 23, 2026, and closes on June 18, 2026. Entry fees are listed by age category: adults $35, students age 13 to 18 $20, and participants 12 years and under free (no tee shirt). The registration fee includes a commemorative tee shirt and a keepsake finisher medal for registered participants.
Packet pick up is scheduled at Mitchelville Freedom Park on race day morning. A pre-race group stretch session is provided by Memory Matters. Post-race individual stretch sessions are available through StretchLab; these sessions require separate, limited registration and are allocated in order received.
