Event Overview
The Mistie Hill Wine Run 5k takes place at the Mistie Hill Vineyard in Custer Park, Illinois. This event features a course with scenic views of a family-operated winery specializing in cold-hardy French-American hybrid grapes. The race starts and finishes at the winery premises where all estate-grown fruit is processed and bottled.

Participants can choose to run or walk the course. The event is chip-timed and scored, with results posted online following the conclusion of the activity. While strollers are permitted, the winery notes that the ground on the course is uneven. Dogs are not allowed at this event.
Registration Details
Each registered participant receives a cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, and a finisher medal that also functions as a wine stopper. Registration includes a pour of wine for participants aged 21 and over. Minors may participate at a modified rate which includes a shirt, medal, and bib, but excludes the wine glass and wine pour.
Awards and Timing
Age group awards are provided for the top three finishers in several ten-year categories. Results are handled by a professional timing service. Competitive runners are encouraged to start in the first group to remain eligible for these awards. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day of the race and opens one hour before the start.
