The Mistie Hill Wine Run 5k takes place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Mistie Hill Vineyard in Custer Park, Illinois (36921 Ohlhues Rd, 60481). The event is a chip-timed 5k run/walk, professionally timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online at J3Timing.com. The course starts and finishes at the winery. Registration items include a Super Soft ring spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Logistics, awards and participation options
Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. The event offers age group awards for the top three finishers in each 10-year category: 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & Over. Age group winners must start with the first group or first wave to be eligible; awards are available for pickup the day of the event and will not be shipped. Minors may register at a discounted rate and receive a shirt, medal and bib but no wine glass or pour. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground; dogs are not allowed. A virtual participation option is available, with packet pickup or shipped packets for a shipping and handling fee.
