Miracle Hope 5K Run (Family Fun Run/Walk)

Purpose, course and awards
The race is held in memory of a child who received therapeutic equine services and fundraising from the event will support Healing Strides of VA, a nonprofit therapeutic riding organization located in Boones Mill, Virginia. Healing Strides is described as operating on 28 acres with pastures, paddocks, arenas and a dedicated mental health, learning, and coaching building.
Awards are provided for overall and age-group placings. The top three male and female overall finishers receive trophies. Masters (40 and over) and Grand Masters (50 and over) categories also receive trophies and medals. Medals are given to the top three in each of 16 male and female age groups, with brackets ranging from 9 and under up to 80 and over.
