Minooka Summerfest 5k : Downtown Minooka, IL
Minooka Summerfest 5k takes place on June 13, 2026 in downtown Minooka, Illinois. The event is a 5 kilometer out and back road race on closed village streets. The course is paved and features rolling hills, with split timing at 1 and 2 miles. Water is available on the course and at the finish.
Online registration opens January 21 and the online entry fee is $35 plus an online processing fee. Registrations after June 2 are charged $40. In-person registration and packet pickup are available the evening before and on race day; in-person entries are $40, payable by cash or check to the Minooka Lions Club. Online registration closes June 12.
Results are produced with professional race chip timing by J3 Timing and will be posted online by June 14 and on the Minooka Lions Club website.
Age categories run from 11-14 through 80 and above and include 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75-79. Awards include first overall male and female plus the top two finishers in each age category. A post race awards ceremony and raffle prize drawings are held at the registration tent; raffle drawings use bib numbers and the event features over $200 in gift certificates.
