Ministry of Sound Games
Ministry of Sound Games is a music-led fitness competition held in London that combines timed workout zones, live DJs, and a recovery-focused social after-party. The competition is built for pairs; a Wildcard Entry option pairs solo participants with a teammate before the event.
The workout comprises five back-to-back zones:
- Zone 1 Warm Up: mobility and activation led by headline coaches, music: House.
- Zone 2 Cardio: 12 minutes on Wattbikes with distance scoring, music: Drum & Bass.
- Zone 3 Functional Fitness: kettlebell swings, burpees and rowing with reps plus rower distance scoring; weights vary by category.
- Zone 4 Stamina: sandbag lunges and shuttle sprints with reps and distance tracked, music: Tech House.
- Zone 5 The Finisher: 12 minutes on the Ski-erg with distance scoring, music: Tech House.
Each zone uses live DJs and nightclub-style production. Scoring methods include distance and reps, and partner swaps are allowed during zones. Waves hold 24 people (12 pairs) and tickets are split into AM and PM sessions; exact wave allocation is assigned at random before the event.
Tickets include access to the competition, a digital finisher photo, recovery amenities such as Hyperice stations and ice baths, a food and drink item per person, and access to the recovery and social after-party. Previous events have awarded prize bundles valued at over £3,000 to winners, with a total prize pool exceeding £18,000. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
