Minchinhampton 10K : race summary
The Minchinhampton 10K is a road race held in Minchinhampton, Stroud, with Race HQ at Minchinhampton Academy and start and finish at The Great Park on Minchinhampton Common. The next scheduled event date is 14 March 2027.
The course covers 10 km (6.2 miles) and is approximately 98% road and 2% grass. The route follows quiet country lanes and undulating terrain with one notable hill between 6-7km. Total ascent is about 151 m, with the highest point near 193 m and the lowest near 113 m. The finish runs along Minchinhampton’s main street.
Entry is limited to 300 runners; entries close on 5 March or earlier if full. The published entry fee is £27.50 with an additional £2 for unaffiliated runners. Included items and prizes comprise a bespoke finisher’s medal, a technical T-shirt (sizes to be guaranteed by ordering by 25 February), podium prizes for first to third place for men and women, and a Cadbury’s Cream Egg for finishers. A water station is provided after 5 km. Minimum age for participation is 16 years.
