Minchinhampton 10K
The Minchinhampton 10K is a road running event around Minchinhampton in the Cotswolds. The course distance is 10 km (6.2 miles), with approximately 98% road and 2% grass. The route follows quiet country lanes and rolling terrain with about 151 m total ascent; the highest point is around 193 m and the lowest about 113 m. A notable hill lies between 6 and 7 km, with the finish on Minchinhampton’s main street. Race HQ is at Minchinhampton Academy and the start and finish are at The Great Park, Minchinhampton Common.
Entry is limited to 300 runners and the minimum age is 16 years. The published entry fee is £27.50 with an additional £2 for unaffiliated runners. Entries close on 5 March or earlier if the field fills. T shirt orders must be placed by 25 February to guarantee sizes. The event provides a finisher’s medal, a technical T shirt, podium prizes for first to third place in both male and female categories, a water station after 5 km, and a post-race confection.
